The Milky Way

A little bit ago, mom and I were driving back down to Houston and ended up driving through a dark zone, when I looked out my window I noticed a part of the sky looked a little lighter and I thought it might just be clouds so I decided to keep watching but as we drove it didn't move. Earlier that day I'd gotten an email from NASA saying the Milky Way will be visible in June, I rolled down my window and saw that sure enough, it was. Mom found a spot to pull over so I could look at the sky for a bit. At the start of the drive we'd stopped at this silly souvenir shop that was full of dumb Area 51 items and such, I'd gotten an alien beanie and still had it on so me and the alien watched the Milky Way for a bit before we had to get back on the road (we were trying to beat a storm), before we left I'd tried to get a picture on my phone, I didn't look at the image before leaving, this was the picture I ended up with,
